Position Overview

hack's Sofia office is expanding and seeking an enthusiastic developer eager to deliver quality code. This role offers the opportunity to work with innovative blockchain projects at the forefront of Web3 technology.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop new product features and applications within an Agile environment
  • Collaborate with expert developer teams on blockchain-based decentralized applications for enterprise use
  • Create smart contracts and oversee blockchain integration performance with existing systems
  • Establish and maintain development, testing, and production environments for blockchain solutions
  • Maintain continuous integration pipelines for application development and testing
  • Full-stack development experience (Node.js preferred) is advantageous

Required Skills & Knowledge

  • Understanding of blockchain technology fundamentals
  • Smart contract development experience using Ethereum's Solidity
  • Expert-level proficiency in at least one web technology stack (JavaScript preferred)
  • Proficiency with smart contract development tools such as "Truffle, Embark, Hardhat, Foundry"
  • Strong grasp of asynchronous programming concepts and solutions
  • Knowledge of continuous integration and blockchain management tools
  • Testing, troubleshooting, and distributed computing expertise
  • Proficiency with Git and version control systems
  • Excellent English communication (written and verbal)

Bonus Qualifications

  • Experience with Vyper, Substrate, or other smart contract languages
  • Management experience
  • Remote team collaboration background
  • Published technical writing or blogging
  • Open source project contributions
