Blockchain Developers Meetup — powered by hack.bg

We are very inspired by the decentralization models, so we want to contribute however we can towards it. That’s why we organized a Blockchain Developers Meetup, so that we could involve and pass our knowledge to as much people as we can. Hopefully we inspire developers and enthusiasts to the new disruptive technology — blockchain. We love this topic and we believe it is here to stay, so we intend to make these meetups be “from developers to developers” and share knowledge in our community.

Sharing knowledge is what this meetup group is for. Blockchain technology is in its infancy, so every bit of new information is very valuable and is helping the community to grow.

Our meetup is being held monthly and is focused on the development practices and trends in the blockchain area. It is 100% non-profit oriented and motivated by our love for this topic, our passion for open source, knowledge sharing, constant learning, meeting new people and having fun.

You can visit our meetup page and be part of our community as well.

In this group we will be talking and discussing blockchains, smart contracts, on-chain and off-chain transactions, cryptography, consensus algorithms and implementations. The topics will be mostly development related, but whether you are a developer or don’t have any experience in this field — you are mostly welcome.

If you want to contribute to our meetup by speaking on some blockchain related topic or you have some other idea in mind — drop us a line at events@hack.bg

Have a project in mind?

Let's talk about what you're building.

The zkEVM Race: Ethereum’s Most Difficult Engineering Problem

Every blockchain faces the same uncomfortable question eventually: what happens when more people want to use it than it can handle? For Ethereum, that question stopped being theoretical years ago. At peak congestion, a simple token swap can cost more in gas fees than the tokens themselves are worth. The network processes roughly 15 transactions […]

The Hidden Threats in Code Review Requests: A Cautionary Tale for Developers

As developers, we’re often approached to troubleshoot or optimize projects. While most requests are legitimate, sometimes they conceal malicious intent. Recently, we’ve been encountering situations that underscore the importance of vigilance in our field. Here’s a detailed account of what happened in one of the requests, how we uncovered the threat, and the lessons we […]
